Research questions:

How can teachers improve their digital competences in a community of practice?

1) How do teachers develop their digital competences in an eTwinning project?

2)  What are the strengths and opportunities; weaknesses and challenges of eTwinning as a way for teachers to develop their digital competences?

3)  How can eTwinning been improved to enhance development of teachers digital competences?

Researches to answer questions:

Research 1  How teachers improve their digital competences in eTwinning (an online community of practice). Research method: Quantitative research.  Ask European teachers that have participated the last 2-3 years.

Research 2  Etwinning as a way to improve teachers’ digital competences: a) strength and opportunities  b) weaknesses and challenges.
Research method:  Case study of one or more recent eTwinning projects.

Research 3  How can eTwinning been improved to enhance development of teachers digital competences?  Research method: Mixed method. Interviews and questioners for teachers and people working in eTwinning national or central agencies.
